General Information Regarding Sporting Selections

What is a mathematical model?

A model is quite simply a computerised method of analyzing a mass of statistics relating to a sporting event with the aim of deriving the chances (probabilities), of each outcome winning an event. The aim to find the overlays or the value in the match if you like. One of the reasons we can make good profits from sports betting is because the bookmakers are more interested in 'balancing their book', rather than posting odds they believe are correct. Our probabilities are compared against those of the bookmakers (in the form of the odds), to work out if there is a bet available.

We have used these models with great success in the past and we expect these results to continue into the future.

Mathematical models are particularly good as they are not prone to human biases which can easily creep into a punter's betting approach without even the punter noticing until it is too late.
